season of motherhood

Welcome to Artifact Motherhood. This is a collaboration of artists from around the world who have come together to share our stories of the joys and struggles of our journey. Through our writings and visual records we want to create memories that are more than photographs with dates written on the back. These are the artefacts we are leaving behind for our children and for generations to come.

stop i said… “i want to take your picture!”

she indulges me less + less these days, but i am happy she still indulges me.

maybe, just maybe, when she is older + looks back on all the moments we captured together, maybe the corners of her mouth will turn upward + she will be filled with just as much happiness as i was the day i took the photo. the days are long and the years are short… + i want to remember it all.
